Sad to see the wit of Larry has left us. I admired his satire and sardonic wit always. My parents of course hated it. When last I saw him, it was the day his wife retired from nursing. He looked elegant and much more dignified than I had ever seen him. His hair was all white and the resemblance to his father was pronounced. One of the most seriously funny men I have ever known. We were friends for almost all our lives and I will miss him for the rest of mine.
