Larry Rowe was my cousin. I always admired his sense of humor and pleasant manner. He was just one month older than me. My birthday is in Novermber and his was in October. The year we turned 13, he wrote a letter to me in October bragging that he was a teenager and I wasn't. The year we turned 30, I wrote a letter to him in October bragging that I was still in my twenties and he wasn't.

I miss his smile.
