Danny was born on September 3, 1944, in Greensboro, the son of Hiram Mack and Robbie Justice Black. He worked 40 years with the Weyerhauser, Inc. team until his retirement. He was an avid Nascar fan. He is survived by his loving wife, Marché Black; his daughters, Breanne Black of Greensboro, Danell Black- Sharpe and husband, Kevin of Kernersville, and Brandi Black of Kernersville; grandchildren, Damian (his pride and joy) and Dominic Black, Marissa Black; special nieces and nephews, Brittney and Taylor Leonard, Tabbitha Leonard, Kyle Leonard and wife, Cody and their daughter, Kylee Leonard whom he loved very much and was commonly known as "Uncle Duck". He will also be deeply missed by his four legged friends, Coyote, Kelsey and Harley.

The family will receive friends for reflection following the service.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Weyerhouser, Inc., American Express, East Forsyth Eaglettes, Truliant Federal Credit Union, Bank of America and Seacoast Church for their ongoing support and prayers through this difficult time.
