Candace (Candy) Reed Warren, 67 of Virginia Beach, VA passed away peacefully on December 20, 2013 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born to the late Kenneth and Muriel Reed , Sept. 19, 1946 in Portsmouth, Va. Candy is survived by her soul mate and loving husband Troy J. Warren of 23 years, and her brother Thomas Reed of Kill Devil Hills, NC. Candy graduated in 1963 from Norview High School at the age of 16 and received Masters Degrees from University of Virginia and Old Dominion University. Candy taught at Booker T. Washington High School for over 30 years. She was a passionate teacher with a gift for making each child feel special. Candy
