Richard Andre Claggett, age 59, of Okeechobee, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at his residence. Mr. Claggett was born July 23, 1944, in Ft. Myers, to Joseph Claggett, Jr. and Hollis Claggett. Mr. Claggett was an auto mechanic who came to Okeechobee from Ft. Lauderdale in l996. Mr. Claggett was of the Methodist faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, having served in Hawaii. He was a member of the American Legion in Illinois. Survivors include: son, Eddy Wenzel of Greenwood, Ind.; and two brothers, Edward and Albert Claggett, both of Florida. Interment will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. All arrangements are entrusted to the loving care of the Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
