Betty Jo Densmore VIRGINIA BEACH - Betty Jo Densmore passed away July 23, 2011. She was the widow of William F. Densmore who passed away June 26, 2011. Betty was an active member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary for more than three years, the Eagles Club and Atlantic Shores Baptist Church. She is survived by her parents, C.W. "Bill" and Esther F. Leary and a brother, David S. Leary, all of Virginia Beach. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 20, at 3 p.m. in Calvary Assembly of God, 4925 Providence Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23464. Cremation & Funeral Services of Tidewater assisted the family.

Chesapeake - Jackie Cochran Lovelace, 68, of Cobblewood Arch passed away October 24, 2013. He was born in Norfolk to the late Elbert L. and Mabel McClellan Lovelace. Jackie served his country in the United States Army, was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Countyline Hunt Club.


He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Virginia S. "Faye" Lovelace; a daughter, Angela F. Lovelace; two sons, Michael Lovelace and Kevin Lovelace; five grandchildren; a sister, Linda Linheart and a brother, Claude Lovelace.

Donald Lee Manning, 74, of Chesapeake, VA, passed away on December 15, 2019. He was the son of the late James and Lee Manning, and also predeceased by a son, Patrick Shaun Manning. Donnie worked for Ford Motor Company in Norfolk for 36 years. He was a coach, sportsman, hunter and enjoyed doing all of it with his beloved grandchildren. Donnie was a man who never knew a stranger, and was much loved by all. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
